good would be knowing that what was to be accomplished was completed to satisfactory level where as exceptional would be going beyond what was expected only to find that someone else could make it seem as if it were only good leaving the whole circle to complete itself again until someone else comes along and out preforms the exceptional once more proving that nothing is truly exceptional rather it is simply good that appears to be exceptional waiting to come out as only good not exceptional.

Good is just above average most of the times, and exceptional is extremely good in every thing and always

Hmm.. good question. I guess 'exceptional' would be something really special, out of the ordinary. Something that requires talent and hard work. Good is better than average, more than acceptable, but maybe not the best.

when doing my degree a good was achieved when you managed to find the information and meet the correct criteria, an exceptional was achieved when you did it in a unique, original and imaginative manner.
