Cookies: are the ones which are used by the web servers which keep your records like say your login information,some cookies may even track your records like the websites you visit.
Scripts:These are pieces of codes in VB or Java say which are used for client interface such as asking ur name to enter in website etc etc scripts doesnt tax on system so they are prefd. over other traditional pgmng lang such as C++ etc
