I think that men make war because the warrior nature is a part of them. From hunting for food, killing for self preservation, to protecting the family. I don't think men crave the sensation of pregnancy, i think that children bring out a fierce instinct to protect, in our species as in all the others on this planet.
Aside from the blood rage of killing in a war setting, I think that the science of tactics, the rules and moves of the game of war are also very interesting and have their own draw (though it seems that the strategists and the fighters are definitely 2 different men).

no. why would we WANT to be pregnant, thank god we dont have to.
War, is a way of taking what we want. thats it.
land, food, oil, supplies, women, money, drugs. its all about what we want, and whoevers got the bigger guns, gets the cake.
we DO NOT WANT TO BE PREGNANT.
