I don't know what you mean by surviving. If you mean: living a comfortable life and paying your bills, and saving reasonably... I live in California and here it's quite expensive.
Not less than 70K yearly for a comfortable life!

about $10,000 is my guess,..... lets see, break it down to months and weeks, about $200 per week is about $800 amonth this would equate to about 9 thousand 6 hundred. Wow I was pretty close.
