Get a restraining order. First write down all the incidents that you can think of and the dates if you can remember them. Write down every time you asked him yourself to stop bothering you. Next take all of that and take any cards or emails or text messages with you to the police station. Make a police report. After you have made an official police report, get a restraining order against him. Don't let him tell you that the police won't help you. He's just saying that to intimidate you. He's a loser that won't let go of you and will say anything.

his father can't control the police-if u are reluctant to go to the police is father is employed w/ (ie local) then go to the next(ie state)-he has no right to do what he's doing nor should he get away w/ it-if there's only one police dept where u live then try a victim crisis center in your area or better yet consult an attorney-whatever route you take-please take one & soon

Don't worry about his father's connections. Call the police right now and report him.

tell his dad what is going on....and explain to dad that you will slap a restraining order on his son if he does not stop. In hopes dad can talk to his son. (Maybe the dad is sensible?!?)If this does not work, then get a restraining order.
