I'm not saying Mexico is one of the greatest, but the only memorable Mexican players in Europe Have been Hugo Sanchez who won the "Pichichi" award with Real Madrid and Rafael Marquez who plays in Barcelona.

I think that the reason why alot of Mexican players dont like going to Europe is because its more comfortable to be at home, also because they get payed good, and also because they know that if they go to Europe they are going to be benchwarmers and in Mexico they get to play.

If Mexico is so good, how come only two Mexican players play in Europe?
First I recommend everyone to identify which country they from than have the right to commence coz maybe your own country dont even qualify in the world cup.

Because soccer in Mexico is overpaid, and if the players go to Europe they want so much money than the teams offer. Rafa Marquez moved first to Monaco, and they paid him less money than Atlas (his Mexico team) but he improve a lot in Europe, and now is one, or even the best paid mexican soccer player.

I know that Mexican players have excellent salaries in Mexico, and also they do not have to move with their family and children is better for them to stay in their country. Mexicans are very nationalist and accustom to their traditions,food, rules, etc.

Theres better players in other countries like Brrazil, Italy, Englad, Camerun, they have to compete against the best in the world to get to Europe teams!!!

They are good but they go against the best in the world to play in Europe and that, is tough. Hence they don't play in Europe so much.

MEXICO is good coz they qualified from one of the weakest region in football, CONCACAF. Only USA can give them stiff competition. Mexican fell better playing at home than abroad.
