I broke up with a guy about two and a half years ago, I still feel the same now as then. I still love him even though he nor I were happy in this relationship. I think the only thing you can do is feel the hurt. It gets less intense as time wears on and you realize that it was the wrong relationship for you. You get out there and go to work, go to school, go on a trip, or just go. But, physically do something that you feel good about. You don't need to spiral into a depression. Then you won't be good for yourself, much less anyone else. Give yourself permission to move on.

You can't rush it. The only fast cure is for you to fall in love with someone else. I mean really love, not just a rebound thing.

Sorry, it is not that easy unless it was not real. It takes time to get over emotional trauma. It may take as long as two years. Probably will be less though.
