I think the world cup is a good way for the whole world to just chill out on everything that happening. Look at the Ivory Coust they quit there civil war after yearrrs of fighting. All of europe shuts down when there team plays. I helps the environment by makeing people realize that what they are doin is stupid and lets just get along and play some soccer

I enjoy sitting at the TV when my country is playing .....but you are right, everything is quiet and peaceful while the game ......but then ......;-)
