all ps games are backward compat with the ps3 it should be unlike the 360 which only has a few back compat

You can play PS1 games and PS2 games and the PS3. It's backward compatible all the way through. I wish you could played PSP games on it.

We dont have a lot of details on the Playstation 3 yet. But Playstation 1 games can be played on Playstation 2.

PS3 will already be backwards compatable
so you'll be able to play any PS game
