I'm looking to get a Palm TX instead of a Smart Phone because I want something easy to use and that has a bigger screen, and works regularly with Word documents. But what service/who do you pay/how much? to get access to Web pages and your email? I get email services through Verizon on my cell phone for an extra $5 a month, but the Palm TX isn't a Verizon product...I'm following my previous question: what's better for long periods of taking notes with an attached keyboard: straight PDA or smart phone, and whatever choice you recommend, which one do you recommend for the taking notes with keyboard? Thanks, Art

You could use T-Mobile hotspot, and the T|X comes with a free trial offer inside the box. The drawback is there's not always a hotspot wherever you go.

P.S. the T|X has a touchscreen keyboard that you activate by pushing the button on the bottom-right corner of the screen. There are 4 modes: Grafitti (The drawing thing), abc (Lowercase), ABC (Uppercase), and 123 (numbers and currency)
