My Agent says to only send out post cards to the CDs, not 8X10s. Is this so? Thoughts?

Yes, the preferred method is to ONLY send POSTCARDS! It works.
That is how we communicate with casting directors. 8x10's go in the trash!
Don't rock the boat, if you want to work in the industry! You are called in based on your postcard!

yes! postcards! they'll throw them away anyway, so why waste an 8x10? But also have some new thing you're doing or have just done on the postcard in case they actually read it! Also, they are cheaper to print and to mail.

Postcards are much cheaper but they hit the round file much quicker. If you know anyone of import, have them write a letter of introduction for you and send the 8 by 10s.

you have an agent? cool ummm I gess post cards would be the best. I am an actress but I have no agent I dont know hawe to get one!
