hi there. Euclid from ancient Greece proved that there must be an infinite number of primes, so I guess that means that, strictly speaking, there is NO biggest prime number. however, as of yet, and because of the efficiency of the Lucas-Lehmer primality testing algorithm for Mersenne primes, the top 5 record (i.e. largest) primes have been of this type, the biggest being 2^(30402457) - 1. hope this helps.

There is no limit to the number of primes or composites. Whether you go till infinity, you will find many primes approaching infinity. That just means, there's no largest prime number!

There is no 'largest' prime number, because you can keep counting infinitely and never come to the end of the number line.

Your question is unanswerable(well, kind of)
