Browne began performing psychic readings since 1973 and has attracted a large following. She has performed thousands of one-on-one readings and with a wide variety of groups and individuals. Her son, Chris also claims to be a psychic and Browne's grandmother made similar claims. Browne claims to have provided information to police departments and the FBI, however police officers and family members say that in all 35 cases she worked on she played no useful role.[2] She also claimed she has advised former U.S. presidents; but little evidence exists to support these claims.

Browne has made many predictions of varying accuracy, including that Bill Clinton was falsely accused in the Lewinsky scandal (proved incorrect), that Bill Bradley would win the 2000 U.S. presidential election with the Reform Party coming in second, the "hiding in caves" of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, the death of bin Laden (later reported by the CIA as incorrect), a verdict of "not guilty" in the Robert Blake case (later established to be correct), and the appearance of alien life on Earth by the year 2010. Browne failed to predict the September 11, 2001 attacks but after the fact claimed she had disturbing dreams involving a lot of fire in the week preceding the attack

I wanted to believe that she's the real deal. However, when you charge $700 for a phone consultation/reading, I don't think so. Some people would say there's nothing wrong with making a living off of one's gift, but this woman meets a LOT of people during her lifetime and she could help so many without charging so damned much. Just my two cents. It's no longer a humanitarian thing when you're charging thousands of dollars or passing your clients on to your "gifted" son who charges only slightly less because you're so overbooked. This woman makes good money, don't think she doesn't. What finally turned me off to her was her wanting to build a church. I think we have enough religions in this world, thank you Sylvia, but that just sniffs of the shifty Magician.

I think we all have the capability to connect with our loved ones dead or alive, in our dreams, our thoughts, our emotions. We just have to be open to it and not dismiss things off the cuff.

Some people do posses psychic powers. Sylvia too posseses something different than usual people. I am not aware of its intensity.

But she is more of a show-off. Most of her readings are based on COLD READING. I have seen her programs and seen her going completely wrong at various occasions.

People like Sylvia Browne make money by playing with others emotions.

I think she was back in the days, but now I think she be bullshi****. Now it's her son chance. A gift from God don't charge that much. The Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away. As far as Syvlia Brown if she let it go maybe she won't feel the need to scratch her scalp so much. Montel poor thang he can't let it go either he invites her back every week. Hoping she'll get it right the next time.

Well.....I think somepeople do have that gift. A few times I've seen things in the futture and they came true. I think we all have intuition, but that women are more physic because they choose to follow that intuition. And hey, maybe God has given her that gift, but if she doesn't acknowledge it as Gods gift and relies on herself He will take it away.

Yes, physic power is real. It is spiritual power and can come from God or other spirit realms. If Christians like myself used the powers that God supplies very few would need to seek power from physics, horoscopes, tea leaves, fortune tellers, etc.

She seems to have an amazing and inexplicable gift on the shows I've seen her appear on, She could use a decent manicure, though. I like long fingernails, but the whole tip, claw thing isn't working.

Nope. Some people have esp, other don't. But 10 to 1, the ones who claim to be tarots and fortune tellers don't have it. They want money, and don't know how else to earn it.

I have nothing to base my opinion of her ability on. I firmly believe that Psychic ability is achievable. Did this person achieve it? Can't say for sure.

It is kind of like a Psychic that called my house one day. She asked if I would like a reading. I said, "Shouldn't you already know that answer?"
