As long as you live in the western hemisphere you are an American - not a US citizen or resident. The only true way that can be interpreted is to say patriot because all races & heratrages can be a 100%.

The term 100% American does not make any sense because we all have ancestors from other countries in America.
Any US citizen is 100% American.
I suppose it could mean that both your parents were US citizens but other than that, it is a nonsense term.
100% native American means that all your ancestors were American Indians. Nothing else.

The terms "100% American" and "Native American" have both been used in various different senses at various times in American history.
Native American has only very recently been used to describe decendants of the aboriginal tribes of the new world.
Traditionally the phrase was used to distinquish between those who were born in the United States and/or those families had come to the New World prior to the begining of large scale immigration.
This was the basis of what is generally called the "Nativist" political movements which became prominent beginning in the 1830's in reaction to Irish immigration.

I was born and raised in America, therefore I'm 100% American.
As far as my ancestry lines goes, that would be neat to find out, however, I have absolutely no idea where my kinfolk came from. Rumors give out many different countries, the most common being Germany from both sides.
It would have been nice if my grandparents preferred not to ignore their grandchildren, as they are the only ones who really know.

American just means you live in America and most white people say that they are American but I don't. An African American just means they are African but live in America. Usually when we think of Natives we think of Indians and they just live in America.

Technically it should only mean that you have an American citizenship... Cause when you get to question of nationality everyone came here from somewhere at some point of time. You can argue even as far back as to humanities beginnings in Africa when you start arguing what does an American as nationality means.

If someone claims to be 100% American, that just means they're 100% racist.

100 % American usually means they believe everything that Fox News states... that is perhaps the worse insult that has ever crossed my mind...
