Likely what is happening is that you heal the sty and then put makeup on that is infected (like using the same eyeliner pencil that you did when you got the sty in the first place). I suggest you get all new makeup - or better yet, go natural for a while and give your eyes a chance to breath.

The only way I have ever found to get rid of them is with hot/warm compresses 2 or 3 times a day.

A sty is a pimple or abscess that forms in either the upper or lower eyelid, it is an infection caused by bacteria that normally live peacefully on the eyelid skin.Stys are usually caused by staphylococcal bacteria,

Typical treatment for a sty consists of applying warm compresses to the affected eye for 10 to 15 minutes four times daily for several days. This not only relieves pain and inflammation but also helps the sty ripen faster. Be sure to close your eye while you apply the compresses. When the sty comes to a head, continue applying warm compresses to relieve pressure and promote rupture. Do not squeeze the sty. Let it burst on its own.

If stys recur, your doctor may prescribe an oral antibiotic.

You really should see a doctor because I highly doubt that it's okay to have recurring stys. But I have heard that to help relieve them or make them go away faster, placing a warm wet wash cloth on the sty does the trick. I really want you to see a doctor though because sometimes what seems to be a sty is actually something much worse. And having some kind of infection that close to your brain could be very dangerous.

Yikes, I hate stys soooooooooooooooooo much! Ok, get a cloth and put it in a hot hot water sink for 10 minutes, then put it on which eye and leave it one for 20 minutes. Do this intll it is gone, and do go to the docters.

Ok it might sound starnge but I swear it works...Get a garlic tooth and peel it, then cut the tip and gently rub it in the sty. Do it for about a minute twice a day(try to do it overnight) Its probably going to sting and might hurt a little but it works. My grandma would always do that to us when we were younger and it works. I know it might sound like a joke but I promise you it will go away. Another sugestion, if you have shared eye makeup with someone its probably not a good idea and you should throw it away. Good luck!

I had one years ago, and got a very helpful sty medicine from my doctor. It cleared up in no time. You should be able to do the same.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will not be able to get rid of it today. A warm wash cloth will help take down some of the swelling though. Your best bet is to see your doctor and get some antibiotics. Then you need to make sure that you wash your hands real good several times a day, especially after restroom visits. The antibiotics will work wonders in one to two days, but don't stop taking them until they are gone. This will keep them going in your blood stream and fight off the virus.

Do you wear eye glasses????If you do,theres your problem, you need to clean your glasses with something that will kill the sty fungus....If you don't wear glasses and you have try different products,it's time to make a doctors appointment and get this taking care of A.S.A.P.

Sweetie go to the Dr. No one on here can really help you. I used to get stys and then I developed pink eye that just kept going from eye to eye...I had to have my eyes rinsed out and it felt like razor blades going across my eyes...it was sooo incredibily painful. Go to the Dr. Good luck.

First, throw away all your eye makeup so that you don't cross contaminate each eye.

Then put a warm (or as hot as you can tolerate) washcloth on your eye for 10 minutes or longer. I usually heat up some water in a bowl and keep it next to me so I can keep warming up the washcloth. Do this as often as you can and you'll see how quickly it goes away. Do Not use the same washcloth for both eyes. Use a different one for each eye. Hope it helps!
