We live in the richest nation in the world, yet we still have over 10 million children a night going to bed hungry & millions of ppl sleeping on the street- many of them ppl who fought for our freedom, & most honest hard working families can't ever begin to aford decent housing.
We live in the richest nation in the world, yet can't manage to see that all of our children have a fair chance at advanced education (college) & we can't seem to come up w/decent health care coverage of some kind for those who can't afford it.
There's no excuse for why these sorts of tragedy exist. NONE.
Honestly, I don't know how to solve them.
In my spare time I work w/run away youth & abused children, however I doubt that it even begins to make a dent in the over all bigger picture.
What would YOU do?

its not a question if if we "could", its a question of "why dont we?!" all of us can.
theres lack of confidence or, lack of care.
i can. and i am.
with everyone i meet and encourage,
with the Youth group i help run
with obedience to God to do Godly tasks
with my desire to see everyone reach there highest potential
with my family and our choices and belifs
with a personal relationship with God, we can move mountains, DAILY.
prayer changes things too. :-)

i would require everyone to take a tolerance course. i find it asinine that anyone can stand there and tear down someone else because they just dont like that type of person.
IE people who call Gays and lesbians sinners that are dammned to hell.
Or people who hate Muslims because, well, they're muslim. its ridicuious.
so yeah. tolerance courses for everyone.

Eliminate greed in all its forms. Expand on the ADA... encourage people to laugh and cry and find people to support them when they get hurt.
