Fruits (3 to 4 servings a day)

Fruits and fruit juices are low in fat and provide vitamins, minerals, and fiber:

Choose whole fruits more often than juices for the fiber.

Choose citrus fruits, like oranges, grapefruits, or tangerines.

Choose juices without added sweeteners.

you can eat some in moderation, watermelon or pears would probably be the best choice. They all have natural sugar, apples and peaches would be the worst as far as sugar content, but you can have small amounts of them to. And don't eat several different ones in a single day.

Yes but hopefully not all at once! These are all high carb fruits so one piece, or one cup of melon chunks, at a time is best. If type 2 check your blood sugar 2 hours after eating to see how it affects you. If type 1 fit it in your meal plan remembering that one piece is usually equal to 30 or so grams of carbs - 2 carb exchanges by the ADA

All fruits are carbohydrates. You can eat approximately 1/2 of a cup to equal 15 Gms of total carbs. Or a small piece of fruit about the size of a fist.

yes you can, but within reason. Remember fruit has its own sugar, so dont over do it. Everything in moderation..
