Ok me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 2 years now. My boyfriend recently just 4 days ago went and got 2 tattoo's on him. He had tattooed my 1st, 2nd and, last name initialed on his arm. And i was just wondering why do men do that. My friend told me maybe its because he wants to show u how much he loves you. But i was think wel, that tattoo is gonna be on him forever he can't take it off, so do you think he's stating that we will be together forever, im not freaked out at all about it, He has told me that he wants to marry me and he always dream of the married life, but also has said that "we" aren't ready for that step so soon, and i understand cause im still in college. I just wondered why would he tattoo that on his arm but not ask me to marry him yet? maybe i shouldn't read so much into it. Its probably something just got tatooed on there cause he couldnt think of nothing else really lol

only the foolish guys do this = ) i have multiple tattoos as does my boyfriend...neither of us would ever consder getting a partners name on them. the only time when i feel that its acceptable for a name tat is when its a deceased family member or a child's name.boyfriends come and go but your kids and family are permenant

People prove there love in different ways, but I totally disagree with getting peoples names tattooed on the body. That is permanent.

I lhave lots of tattoos, and not one ofthem is a tribute or name of a girlfriend, so dont assume all men do it,, biiaaatch!
