When I have a lot of built up rage and anger I just exercise i.e: biking, running, fighting (punching bag etc..). If its more along the lines of emotional stress, I either try and confide within my friend or write it all out in a journal type thing, I relaize it sounds cheesey but it really worked for me. Or just plain stress, I try meditation or relaxing exercises.

It's always good to find a non-violent outlet. If it's negative feelings toward a certian person or thing, try writing everything you feel about them down. Don't hold back, and then trash the paper when you're done. That way, no one's feelings get hurt, and you'll feel better after venting. You can also write poetry, or draw something. Even if it isn't good, you'll have gotten all that aggression out of your system; and you don't have to show anyone what you did. Just throw the results away if you'd like.

If there is anyone you trust enough, try talking to them about your feelings. Talking things out and getting feedback from someone outside of the situation can help. If they are romantic feelings, then you should find a good time and then come straight out to the person you're thinking about and say something.

If you're more of a physical person, swim, run, or do something else exercise-wise. Surprisingly enough, a good work out can clear your head and help you think about the feelings that are bothering you.

Listening to music can really help too. You never know what you can find to help you out in the lyrics of a song.

There are lots of ways to deal with bottled up feelings; you just have to choose which method is right for you.

Let them out . keeping stuff bottled up can hurt you, causes headaches and ulcers - stress, even depression. So get it off your chest . Talk about it with someone who cares for starters.

Take a few deep breaths, write them down, and talk to a trusted person about what you wrote down. Pray, do yoga, exercise, painting, something you like, to help with peace of mind.

I used to go for a long walk and write a lengthy letter to someone narrating everything in detail, what happened, how , who is responsible, what was my role and where it went wrong, what caused my displeasure etc., but not posted those letters.

let them out because in the long run, you wouldn't know how to deal with them. you're gonna have your own Hank growing inside of you. you know "me, myself, and irene". it's not good because one of these days you're gonna explode. i'm like that, i keep everything in, and all i do is cry because i feel i can't do anything about my problem, and it makes me more weak which let's other people step all over me, and again you'll keep that inside too. let me just say that by me keeping everything inside, it is so stressful my hair is falling out a lot. email me if you want. and you're only hurting yourself :)

Learn to express your feelings and do it without a stinger attatched. Say things like : I:m upset becuase you called me a name. Please don;t do that again...

Say: What you did to me made me feel hurt, abandoned, unloived and incared about. I expect better threatment and demand it.
