I call it Halloween. I was raised in Michigan although I live in Georgia now. Back in MI we dressed in costumes and went Trick-or-Treating. Many churches had Harvest Parties or gatherings to offer an alternative to celebrating Halloween, which is believed by many to be a festival of death and demons. In many Latin countries it is parallel to "Day of the Dead", or Dia de los Muertos, or a remembrance of those who are now gone from the earth but remain with us in spirit.

I call it Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday, whatever day it is. As far as I know, there is nothing special about it apart from if it's someone's birthday. 31st October is All Hallow's Eve(Hallowe'en).
I am from England. I don't do anything for that either because all the trick and treat stuff, apart from being dangerous, is an American tradition. Hallowe'en is actually the first day of winter in the old Celtic calendar, celebrating the end of one agricultural year and the beginning of another. It is supposedly a day when the dead can return to the living(which I guess is why people dress as ghosts and things.)

hallows eve eve. That's the day I rush around town trying to find a halloween costume at the last minute, but there are no good ones left, so I have to make one up like a fairy-devil-cowgirl-hooker. LOLOL!! I am from California, but stationed in Georgia

I call it All Hallow's Eve, but most people I know call it Devil's Night. They've made a big anti-arson campaign and started calling it Angel's Night for the past few years now. I'm from Michigan.

Hunter day, and the day before Halloween. It is my youngest sons birthday and we have a BIG party and cake, play games and act like little kids while we celebrate his wonderful little self. He is the cutest and sweetest little boy. We also work on costumes for Halloween. Utah

It is the devils birthday. The day the devil tells rumors of people giving out candy. only to lure kids onto the streets alone. Then he grabs them and eats them. That is why so many children go missing on the 31st.
