I have a Palm TX. Its really cool. I'm looking for some good games, a remote control software via my IR port (heard about this from someone), perhaps some drawings appls and if possible a software that I could use to build my own palm apps.

www.freewarepalm.com has LOTS of freeware - some is color and great for newer hi-res Palms like the TX. They do have some sketching apps as well as development programs, games (try Sahalin, Space Traders, Bombers, nd Pocket City). Do a web search for a game called Plumber Pete; it's low-res but fun and colorful anyway!

For remote programs, try Noviiremote and Omniremote (just do a websearch to find them individually at a variety of sources of find them at www.handango.com ...there is also PalmRemote and perhaps others as well. No, they should not crash your Palm just because of the type of program. Check the OS compatibility requirements and if you do have problems (unlikely) try another program. They usually seem to range from $15-$25. I'm hoping to find a freeware one myself! :)

Tucows has good software too.

I haven't found freeware to build apps yet, so good luck on that. If you find any let me know! I know how to make calendar databases but that's it.
