you can buy it in 50 lb. sacks listed as play sand , or as swimming pool filter sand at Wal-Mart or at most building supply houses ( Lowe's , Home Depot , Etc. )

lumber yard, building supply places & concrete companies will either have it, or can tell youwhere to get it. also the prior answer is right on.
If you are buying enough, you can have it delivered by the truckload to your site.
