my friend gave me her e-mail and her password
because she has no internet in her house. does she trust me or what? sometimes she goes online if she can.

Yes, surely she trusts you. Because e-mail addresses and passwords are very confidential in nature, her giving your hers is a sure sign that she trusts you. As to the reasons why she gave you those information, there are many possibilities. One, at one time or another, she might ask you to open it for her if she cannot do it herself and see if she has important messages to act on. Two, may be she wants you to know her better if by chance you become curious and you open her e-mail address. Three, may be she wants you to know that you are a person who can be trusted and that will boost your ego. Four, she wants to know if she is right in trusting you by your not opening her e-mail which is unethical. Fifth, none of the above which I don't know anymore.

I'm sure that you won't open her e-mail and that makes you worthy of trust.

I would say she trusts you. I'm not sure what you mean by what else.
