if he's 76 and you're 73, no...

From 20-23 no. From 14-17, maybe, depends on the ages and maturity of people combined, but in general the older both are, the better. If one is in Junior High, the other in High, it will probably not work.

well it depends on which age difference ur talking about. if like somebody is 18 and the other person is 15 then yes three years is too much but if both of the people are adults then no three years is not too much yall both are mature adults that can handle an age difference like that.

Usually 3 to 5 years younger or older is alright, depending on ones age.............
lets take 18..........3 to 5 years older is ok, but is not ok for the person to be 3 to 5years younger, due to laws as to when one is an adult.
lets take 21...........3 to 5 years older or younger is ok, if you have things in common
lets take 60...........3 to 5 years older or younger is ok, if you have things in common
some men and women will even have an age difference of 10, 15 or 20 years.............hopefully they have a similar background and things in common

It depends on your age. if you are 14 and he is 17, that's a pretty big difference. If you are 18 and he is 21, it is less of a difference.
