Where I work...there is this girl that stares at me constantly. When I get my hair done or do anything personally to alter my appearance, she will come to work with the same hairdo, jewlery etc..I went to work today and because she mimics me so much I had felt I had morphed into a leprachaun (she is about 4'4" I am 5'7"). Everything I do she duplicates..WHYYYYYYYYY???????????. I have piercings now she wants piercing but her hubby wont giver her permission. She has even asked me for my unwanted belly rings!! wtf???

I just bought a Saturn SUV and this week she came and had one of those new CUV's I think you call them..her height isn't an issue just the fact that she is impersonating me

I had this same problem last year with a freshman girl at my highschool. Her boyfriend was one of my guy's best friends. She dyed her hair the same color blonde as mine (she's naturally red headed), got blue contacts to cover her green eyes, bought the same clothes I wore (or similar), wanted her belly pierced (only her boyfriend wouldn't take her, and being underage, she couldn't get one herself). She even stole $75 from my purse, went through my makeup bag, and would have worn the same dress I had to prom, if I hadn't told her I was buying a dress that I hated. Know why? She wanted my boyfriend. I got up in her face about it, and she stopped. I still didn't get an apology, or my money back. Just tell the girl it bothers you, ask her to stop, and if needed, reinforce it.

Obviously you are someone she admires and wants to be like. Have you considered trying to get to know her better and helping her with her self-esteem problem? I noticed you made reference to her "height" and if that is what is freaking you out, and you aren't a friendly or sociable person, just be rude and go up to her and say you really don't like her doing the things she's doing to mimic you and to leave you alone. Either way it's simple.

Sounds like she is obsessed with you. The question is why? Maybe you remind her of a sister or someone. Maybe she just really likes your style. Have lunch with her and get to know her. She might become a really good friend. Just keep it very public until you know she is not dangerous in any way. Ya never know nowadays...

She likely thinks you look great, and good enough to attract men and she likely wants to look that good, too. But the exact same? It could be coincidence. How would she know what style to get it? Or what the hair salon calls the style?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. However, there is a point where things go too far. Have you ever seen the movie "Single White Female"? 'Nuf said.

ohh I hate that! I had a coworker that did that to me too, drove me nuts and she would make it a point to add her stuff cost more than mine too!
Ask her what things she likes, get to know her a little bit. Like say "do you like green? miniskirts?" then wear all the stuff she hates. She'll get the point, especially if you add that you wore them just for her lol.

Wow that is kinda weird. Just ask her if she really wants to be like you? Tell her it makes you feel uncomfortable and that you don't like it.
