I believe in abortion if something is wrong with the baby "fetus" and it would only suffer and die anyhow.
I believe in abortion if someone was raped.
I believe in abortion if the mothers life was in danger and she would die if she carried the baby.
What i do not believe in abortion is little lazy people that use it as a form of birth control cause they are too sorry to go and get on birth control and use condoms in the first place

CHOICE!?! the ability to choose - pro choice leaves no choosing because they are for abortion
CHOOSE to have the baby -
1 Abortion lasts a lifetime
2 every time you go to the Dr's they ask how
many pregnancies and how many live births
3 that is your parents grandchild
4 there are many medical risks that will not show up until later
5 Post Abortion Syndrome lasts a lifetime and can surface any time from when you get the abortion until you die. It is always there and in hidden ways effects the way you think, what you do & how you live . Many people feel they are totally worthless for life.

NO...I don't , because I think it is just like murder. It is a living human inside your body. I think you should never resort to abortion, If you don't want the child you should look up an adoption agency. Not everyone can have children, and you are lucky to be able to have a baby, you should give the people that are not able to have children have the oppritunity to be a parent.
On other hand there are circumstance where you have no choice, for example if you are a young woman, and you have been raped and you can't carry a child without you dying or something like that. In circumstances like that yes I do believe in it.

Killing abortion doctors and nurses is murder. Get off your high horses people!
This is a tough issue. I'd be very cautious about anyone who sees this as black and white, because it shows they are incapable of seeing both sides.
The question isn't whether people want to have abortions, nobody really does. The question is whether they should be legal or whether they are moral. Consider what passed for abortion before they were legalized before you contemplate banning them - that was truely horrific. Banning them will only create a corrupt subculture - poor women will get hurt getting amature abortions, and rich women will fly to wherever they are legal... and people will not stop having them.
As for morality - there are too many unwanted children being born. I've worked for Family and Children services, and the stories of what happens to unwanted children left me with nightmares. As for adoption - statisically many women find it more traumatic than abortion... but of course it varies with the individual.
I support choice. If you don't like abortion, don't put yourself in between a rock and a hard place.

Abortion, imo, is something that I think is okay at some points.
Let's say that a teen was raped. She wasn't able to go to the doctor's on time for whatever reason and became pregnant. Now, if she's only a teen, the pregnancy is going to bring a lot of affect on her. Possible, if she's too weak, she could die. It's the baby's or her life, which one to choose?
But if it's just a clumsy thing happening like a girl getting knocked up at a college party? Well...no, unless she would be too ill to have a baby, I'd say it would be her responsiblity.

Jamie, The only place you will find the truth to your question is in the word of God. He says before you were I saw your unformed body. Also He said I knitt you together in your mothers womb, in the secret place. He makes no mistakes. Every child wether born inside or outside of marriage, or with or without mans plans. It was in the Lords plan and he loves that child, If you are considering abortion re-consider. Most of the time abortion decisions are made because we consider what we want its all about me and what benefits me. Well that child was placed in your womb because the Lord himself new you could handle that precious child. Todays problems that make you think about abortion will pass no matter how difficult it may be at this very moment. It is a baby you are carring. Not a blob. The word of God says Life is in the blood. When and egg and a sperm come together the product is blood and where there is blood there is life. If that is torn and it is torn from your body and burned it feels pain. God has a plan for every child it is the kings child and oh how he loves his children and he loves you. I have a home and raise children that moms can't I see Gods plan for these children daily it is awesome. Remember everyday planned for you was written in His Book before one came to be and for your precious baby. He says I have set before you today, Life and Death, and he gives you the answer- Choose Life. My Childs mother chose life even in Prison for the son she gave birth too and I have a very smart 3 year old. I am so grateful for her unselfish sacrifice.

Yah know, if we would address the problems that lead to abortions, probably less and less women would feel the need to have that service available to them. Until then, every woman has a right to choose what happens to her body, INCLUDING terminating a pregnancy. HOWEVER, alot of abortions happen because women do not take proper precautions to PREVENT unwanted pregnancy. ALL women need to take control of their OWN bodies before they go bitching about what someone they do not even know is doing. Same goes for men. They ALSO have a right (and responsibility) to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.
We still have something called "freedom of choice" around here, at least for now. PEOPLE need to exercise that with care and respect. There will always be sickos and probably always a need for abortion services for various, other, more serious issues (ie: rape, abuse, etc) but it could be lessened with proper care and respect and responsibility for humanity. I hope I see this in my life time. Right now, though, it seems sadly out of control.
PS
Abortion is not something people "believe in". Believe it, it happens. It is about whether or not you believe a person has the right to choose. Freedom to choose is the real issue and yes, we should ALWAYS have a right to choose what we do with our own bodies, every single last one of us. It is the lack of responsibility and respect that causes the rift on BOTH sides.

yes, a woman should have the choice, and oh yeah I don't believe that men shouldn't have that much of a say, because (excuse the vulgarity) Men do not have a vigina, or a uterus and i'm sure if they had one they'd want complete control of it. Me personally I don't think that I would do it. But if you are considering one, get all the information, and abortion is just like getting pregnant and there are psychological affects as well as physical, okay but remember it is your choice and which ever way you choose is just fine.

Right now I'm kinda of in the middle of things. Sometimes I know people may need an abortion for medical reasons and on the other hand I don't think it's right at all.

i dont like abortion. i think abortion should only be allowed if the person was raped or if they knew it would come out disabled or really sick. or if the parents are disabled and cannot care for a child. but this is why we have birth control. we do have the choice as women to get pregnant or not, if you really didnt want to you wouldnt. i mean sometimes the pill is taken and a condom is worn and it still happens in this case i think its different because they have tried not to. but i still dont like abortion. but since women do it anyway could they use them for stem cells?
