I know what u mean, I just dumped a man for that. I want to have a man who wants to help me and do for me, just like I will for him. But that "you're to helpless and child-like to do anything for yourself" attitude really riles me up.

I don't want a man to do EVERYTHING but my late husband did almost everything. He had my meal on the table when I came home from work, he took care of the kids while I was away from the house, He did his own ironing because he was of the military mind,...... He did dishes, laundry and button sewing. I felt like a pampered princess and I miss that wonderful handsome man.

If at all the men think the way you stated, it could be on only two reasons. (1) Out of sincerity and love which is a rare commodity now-a-days (2) It could be to flatter you to exploit the advantage resulting out his act.

I THINK A WOMAN SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE OF THERE SELF'S . GUYS ARE NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE THERE FOR US AND WE HAVE TO BE INDEPENDENT..... I GREW UP THINKING THAT MEN ARE NO GOOD AND IAM THANKFULL THAT I WAS BROUGHT UP THIS WAY BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND NOT HAVE A MAN TO BE HAPPY.
