As of 2/11/1999, it is Pluto once again. For about a 20 year period, from Feb 1979 to Feb 1999, Neptune was further from the sun, due to Pluto's highly irregular orbit path.
This answer will become obsolete as soon as more research is done into this newly discovered 10th planet, which is said to be slightly larger than Pluto.

From Feb. 7, 1979 to Feb. 11, 1999 Neptune was the farthest from the sun. The time before that was 1735 to 1749. It has an unusual orbit. Most of my life I thought Pluto was the farthest from the sun, and it is now, but it was actually Neptune all that time. Until just about 7 years ago.

Well traditionally it has been Pluto, but recently they have been discovering objects larger and further out.
This calls into question whether Pluto deserves status as a planet or not!

In our solar system it is a planet that has been recently found and currently does not have a name. It is on the edge of our universe. Look it up on Google for more info.
