Yes sweetie, you should tell your mom about that. Moving on into women hood is a wonderful thing and your mom should be there to help you . I'm sure she would want to know. There are things you are going to need and need to know. I know it is an uncomfortable subject, but you will feel better by telling her. If your mom and you don't have a close relationship see if there is another adult female that you can talk to as well.

Just tell her, "Mom, today I had some brown discharge. Is that my period?" And she'll say yes, and buy you the materials you need to take care of it.

You're mom is the best person to tell first. Your body is changing from a girl to a woman and you will probally mature a lot like your mom did because you have her genes. In my opinion its the best idea for the both of you.

I think that telling your mom is a good idea. She's a woman she knows what it's like and she might even give you some advice about dealing with it.

you are not the only one who has been waiting for it to happen. your mom wants to know too and she will tell u all the things that u need to know about it. she is your mother and deserve to know. she will be happy to help u in every way. her little girl is becoming a woman. believe me she does not want to miss out on that.

Tell her that you think you got your period. What can it hurt? It is better to tell her, than to not have pads!

Yes you should tell your Mom, because she's been through it too and will know exactly what you need and how you feel.
