Have you checked the exhaust donut gasket

I would have to hear it to diagnose the problem but if you have a plastic intake manifold they have a louder sound on the air entering the engine. Other than that maybe a vacuum hose came off.

Are you absolutely sure it from the intake? Sounds possible the fan clutch is bad which makes it sound like a solid mounted flex fan.

the sound is fan related , spins really fast on startup and subsides as operating temp comes up. Mostly notiable on full size fords- and doesnt mean theres a problem.....the fan and fanclutch are doin their job.....I've worked on a fleet of fords. its a familier ROAR...
