To enable your JAVA, you need to go to Tools then Internet Options on your IE Browser menu on top.
Go to advanced and then scroll down and look for JAVA and check all the boxes. For javascript, check the box that says "Enable javascript error" and uncheck "Disable javascript debug".

Then go to the Security Tab and click on Custom Level and enable Java script.
