if you have a Windows operating system you need to go to the tab in Limewire that says "Library" - click to select the tab - then on that page in the center somewhere should be an "explore" button - click that button
it should open up an Explorer window of the file in which all of your mp3s and stuff is located -
you can click and drag the files out of that window - copy and drag them to whatever the ipod application is
Limewire doesn't allow a direct drag-and-grab from the Limewire program - probably because it's a file-sharing program and all of the files within the program itsself are still 'running' and can't be extracted

on limewire, in your song library, highlight a song you want and then 'enque' it. it should show in the bottom list. you can enque as many songs as you wish(i like to do a big group). then highlight those and under that list(bottom of the page) is a save option. save the songs into a list that pops up(it will happen automatically). then, go to itunes and find the 'import' option under file. when you press 'import' it will ask you from where. it will bring up the file opener. find the limewire folder and open the directory you originally saved them to. when it opens make sure you allow all files (mp3s) to be shown-then click open. the list will pop up in itunes! as for you and your mom, you should just make seperate playlist with each others song. then, every time you update your ipod you will have to just select your playlist only to be updated. i don"t think there is a way to keep them constantly seperate without deleting some! sorry! good luck!

I had a hard time with it when I downloaded the newer version of Itunes. One way is to go into the library in LimeWire, hit Explore (it's in the middle there), right click on the song file, copy it, then pick up the copy and move it into Itunes. There's an easier way to do it, but I can't remember it right now.

First, you have to add the songs to iTunes by using the file menu, import file to library or add folder to library. It will try to convert if the songs aren't in mp3 format. As for sharing iTunes with your Mom, you should have separate user accounts in Windows and put her music in her music folder and your music in your folder and if she needs some of your music just add it to her iTunes. This will cause some duplication of files but it is the way to go.

All you have to do is go to the file my music. Double click on it & it will bring up iTunes and start playing the song. Then all you have to do is plug in your iPod to the computer.
