I can completely sympathise with you.
I feel cheated when we have a Scotsman mess around with our taxes.
We do need an English Parliament that excludes other nations or alternately we need to view ourselves as the rest of the world does, as one nation, the UK, with one Parliament.
Devolution of Wales and Scotland, and the setting up of Parliaments within those countries, was not done for the express wishes of the residents of said countries. That was merely a sweetener for the real agenda of increasing the number of seats the UK as a whole has in the European Parliament, giving more jobs for the old school tie regime, and the increase support offered by more friendly countries that speak the same language.
Try finding England on any of the drop down menus you fill in over the net.
I often come across the question, would you rather be part of Europe or the 51st State of America?
My answer is to re-establish links with our commonwealth partners and become once again a global power to be reckoned with. What, with Australia, Canada, India, parts of Africa and the parts of the Caribbean all under one banner singing from the same hymn sheet could we achieve?

Why is this such a big deal to the English? We had many years of increasingly vindictive minority government, and while most of us Scots, I'm sure, don't think Scottish/Welsh MPs should vote on English issues that don't affect Scotland or Wales, isn't it hypocrisy for you to complain about a little Scottish influence when it didn't matter what we voted, we still got an English elected Tory minister of state for Scotland.
And beware of having an English only parliament, it will only give you another layer of bureaucracy and greater tax burden, with very little gain.

The nth ireland, scotland, wales have thier own legislative governments These gov'nts can only deal with matters in the home country.Whereas the british parliament makes laws for for all of the uk.For example if the welsh increased petrol by 2 pence. That would only be applicable in wales If the house of commons made a like increase it would be for all of the uk.Plus if you look at the sitting members you'l find more three quarters of them represent english constituances So england has no need for thier own gov'nt But if your an anglophile go for it,just means you'll pay more taxes to have little or no effect on the scheme of things

because, those elected to westminster from Scotland and Wales represent their constituents as part of the UK. Those elected to the devolved parliaments represent their constiuents as part of either the Scots or Welsh assemblies.
Put simply - Scottish MSP's only vote on stuff that affects Scotland (same for the Welsh) and national MP's (all UK) vote on stuff that affects the whole UK.
( although the fella above says the pretty much the same but a whole load better!!!...)

Because that would mean England would have to let Wales and Scotland go totally free, and they dont want that. They are still an imperial state wanting to own other countries and these parliaments or assemblies are just crumbs thrown from the English top table.

You need to go back to third grade and take it over again. What you asked shows you know nothing about the government of the UK.
