We had one were in the town where I live and we used to go 3 or 4 times each summer. Great fun for the family. The owners started getting unsolicited offers from realestate developers and sold out last year. Everyone in town was pretty upset because it was a landmark here. Got some darn condos going up there now. Depressing.

The last time I went was around 1990. I don't remember the movie, but we packed 8 drunk people into a Suzuki Samurai and tried to pass it off for 4 by putting the top up and covering everyone with a blanket. After we unloaded we were chased out in a plume of dust before the movie started.

So long ago that I don't remember the movies. It was about 15 years ago. Drive Ins don't exist around here anymore. Too bad...I think they are cool. I should open up one. I think it would be a hit. Three movies for the price of one. And being outside when it's nice. In your own personal space.

That's so sad that your first three answers are "never been". I go quite often, but not since last summer as in Canada drive ins are not year round. Can't remeber the last movie I saw there but People did raz my boyfriend cuz he told them he was taking me to the drive in to see Once upon a time in Mexico and another "guy" movie for my birthday. I'd kick his a** if he took me to a chick flick!

Been so long since I went to one, I can not think of the movie.I can tell you once long ago when we were going to the drive in movie we were driving down a country road( yes the drive -in was way out there) the girl in the front seat had her window half down and baby bat hit the window and landed in her hair.Needless to say she screamed her fool head off and had a very lousy night after that since being the cruel people we were we all teased her all night.

The final time I went to one became interior the previous due 70s, yet I forgot what action picture it became. This theater became placed close to Muncie, IN. there's a rigidity-in theater approximately ten minutes from the place I stay, yet I unquestionably have by no ability been to it. I choose the recent massive cinemas myself, besides the undeniable fact that rigidity ins are a great touch of nostalgia.
