I got a trojan alert. Macafee then couldn't delete or quarantine it. I restarted my computer and my programs found under start>all programs>etc. are gone. I still have my programs and can run them all, but can't get to them from the start up menu. Can I get them back? I am able to put a shortcut in the menu where it automatically appends programs that I use on a regular basis, but I want them back in the normal place.

Start Settings, taskbar and start menu, start menu tab, customise and add. You'll have to go through each of the programs to find the .exe file to run your program

Follow this!

Choose the program (exe Files only) and right click and select Pin to Start menu.... and after it appears in start menu Drag it to Programs..... also you can make default settings.. from add/remove and set programs default at left side ..... in control pannel... :) goodluck!
