It's when you quit smoking you gain weight (cigarettes).

Smoking herb doesn't make you gain weight either, though you do eat a lot.

3-4 tines a week how many cigarettes? If you smoke a pack a day, studies say that you loose in average extra 200 calories/day. But that would be the worse diet out there i believe.
And to answer your question no you do not gain weight.

Weight gain is due to calorie intake and not smoke inhalation

If you eat more , smoke or not you will gain weight. Specially if you do not exercise.

Some people loose weight when they smoke because the do not eat as much while they are smoking.

cigarettes dont make you lose weight, but it is possible. Just like food is something people "do/fix/eat'' when their bored or get stressed, smokers usually replace that with cigarrettes, in turn causing them to eat a little less.

a STRETCH to cigarettes making you gain weight - - i'm sure excersizing isn't much fun when you CAN'T BREATHE. . so it might cut down on your current workouts.

eat a well balanced meal three times a day

Yes.It's the amount of calories that a person consumes that causes weight gain.Smoking will not burn off excess calories, but exercise will.Smoking will only elevate your blood pressure, scar your lung tissue, cause facial wrinkles, and up your chances of developing many different diseases that affect your heart and lungs.Smoking is a very poor appetite suppressant;there are too many overweight smokers around, these days.
