The administration used 9/11 as an excuse to connect Al-Qaeda with Iraq -- and to go to war. The information they produced in regard to this connection turned out to be untrue.
In addition to the deaths caused by the war, the administration is responsible for creating enormous, long-term problems for the rest of the world, not the least of which is an Iraq that has become a breeding ground for terrorists.
President Bush and company, also the bane of civil libertarians everywhere, have a lot to answer for.

No. It was because Bush jr. was influenced by a very powerful lobby in Washington that wanted Iraq's oil fields so using 9/11 as an excuse and the atrocities that Saddam did took second place to the fact that we wanted all those oil fields.

No. It is all about oil and it is about a son wanting to finish a job the father could not start. Meanwhile how many lives are lost? We are talking about the 3.00 gas bills but think what price the relatives of all the soldiers are paying. Also are there not more Iraquis dying now than during the regime of their dictator?
