What is a Header....and what can Yahoo do about it

It certainly can. Look at the header. You will see that there's a list of the servers whose hands the mail passed through. The last one in the list shows the IP address of the machine it originated on (if it hasn't been forged).

Look up that IP address using a DNS lookup website and it should tell you the ISP of that machine. Send the entire email as an attachment to abuse@ ... and the domain of the ISP and sit back and wait.

They may respond or they may not.
---------------------------------
The header is the start of the email before the text. It's not usually displayed but here is the link to how to see it:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/uk/mail/config/config-11.html

The person to contact is NOT Yahoo but the ISP of the machine from which it was sent.

If the offensive mails come from someone who has your email address because you previously corresponded with them or the mail is sent to you and you alone personally, then is technically not Spam.

You best bet is to create a filter that will delete mail from that person. Details of how to do that are in Mail Help on the Yahoo Mail website.

I am believing Yahoo knows all IP addresses.
Ask them.

Yahoo will not take action...but if you could afford to take action..they will help you,,,,OR pay for Yahoo premium package and have a pop3 account :)

Good Luck

Be careful you're not sending them back and that the other person didn't save them.
Do you mean catfight, or some weird stalker dude?
