What have you done recently ?(i.e. reinstalled driver, etc.) these answers would be necessary in helping you diagnose the problem

Have you checked your phone line /cable for issues first ? I supported the 3030 printers for a little while, or is the option not working at all from the control panel ?

Try running Anti-virus , Anti-Spy ware, Ad-Aware, and see if that helps. If not go into safe mode (F8 at boot up) and right click on my computer and select manage, device manager and un-install the printer/fax. Then reboot. see if that works.
