We have several ghosts in our house. A Victorian couple, a young girl who visits my son and daughter, a small white dog and a very tall man. They all seem happy and so do we. You get used to it after a while.

We live near an old gothic castle and there are ghosts there as well. A small boy named Micheal and a French nun.

We've also seen a very ghostly shadow which slipped over our car as we drove by a local accident spot and my daughter and I saw a vintage car with four people inside. The car was ultra new to look at and the people were incredibly beautiful. Two men and two women dressed in 1940s attire. It was early in the morning on a rainy Sunday in April last year. Very out of place and strange. My husband and son never saw iteven though we pointed it out!

Strangely enough though, my husband and I always walk our dogs through the village graveyard at night and we've yet to see a thing!!!

When I worked as a security guard in a hospital, at 2am, I saw an old guy walk into a disused part of the hospital (which was locked up) but when I walked around the corner to find him, he was gone, and all the doors were locked, and there was no where else to go, its impossible for anyone to get out of this area, without me seeing them, so I concluded it must have been a ghost, but it didnt scare me, until I told some nurses about it, and they told me that I had just seen old "Jake" who died in the hospital about 5 years ago, nurses, cleaners and others have seen him late at night for years, pretty spooky.

I have seen ghosts my whole life. They can be frightening, if they appear without warning. The ghost that you saw was a friend, did this person appear in a frightening way, or did they appear to you in an upsetting way, such as bloody or disfigured? If they do, tell them not to come to you this way, and they will leave. The next time they appear will be less threatening. When I was a child a small girl would appear to me in a white shift, form like the 1800's, I don't know why she would appear, but she was not threatening. People I know will appear to me in times of stress or if I feel scared about something and they provide a lot of comfort to me.

As a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.

One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.

One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.

One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.

On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism

My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

no but we have had strange things happen in one of the houses we lived in when i was a kid. i had a puzzle that played music when all the pieces came out and every night right as we sat down for supper it would go off so my brothers would go upstairs once at the top step it stopped playing and they had birds that would get loose every day right before they got home from school. we know it wasn't to much sooner then that because my mom was home and she said she didn't notice anything strange when she would go up to put close away then all of a sudden around 2:30 or so her they would come flying through the house.
plus after my step dad died when i was 16 my mom sold the house about a year and a half later and when in the process of packing the phone would ring but the caller id wouldn't bring up anything it just went blank and when you answered the phone no one was there it wasn't a busy signal just silence. it was very strange but my step dad always told my mom not to sell the farm and she did.
It never scared me I just always thought it was strange

Well yeah the first time I saw a ghost I was scared but at the same time excited and emotional, it seems I can feel the emotions of the spirits I'm near. Now well I even catch myself looking forward to seeing one.

Yes.. several times when I was younger. Also "shadow men". We lived in a 150 year old building in Tennessee while growing up. I saw rats the size of large cats, they scared me a lot more than the ghosts did! ewwwww!

I have ssen ghosts, heard ghosts and had them visit me for seventeen years. I see thing's before they happen including deaths, I possess empathy and attuned writing. It's scary yes but even in the worst times it carries it rewards. We are all given gifts for a reason and choosing to do the right thing and help others in their time's of need with these gifts is the best way to be a compassionate person.
