You are only stuck if you think you are. Think of the possibilities for you where you are, pursue them and opportunities will open up for you.

Well It could always be worse you could be stuck in a big city where your nobody... small towns aren't so bad, are they? Yeah they are boring but isn't there a way to feel not so trapped like picking up a hobby, or you could just do like I do. I live in a small town and work in the city which makes it easy to stay out of all the gossip and bs that goes on. I am so busy when I am at work and its late when I get home so I don't really have much time to interact with the people I live around could be good or bad. I like it that way because around here everyone knows everyone and that way I am not around to hear all the bs or get caught in the middle of it.

Boy am I glad those days are over! Now I have a career that pays me well enough to go where I want, eat what I want, and do so many other things I want. Whew! Glad I earned my college degree!

me too! unfortunately.. but I hope that this not very nice situation of mine will change soon! it all depends on my passing entrance exams to uni in MUCH bigger city! then I'll be free from my family who don't tolerate my relationship and I hope I'll be able to have life that I crave for - study what I'm interested in, live with my beloved. but here... goooosh... it sucks so much! terrible school I have to go to, fear of being seen with my gf by someone who knows me or someone from my family, uncomfortable situations with ppl.. aghh.. I'm sick fo it all! I guess the fear of being seen somewhere with my gf is the biggest problem here (no-one knows about Us). but I hopw it'll change in Sep and I'll be able to move out from here!!

I agree with ikrav, but I live in Hudson, NY and I'm too young to really live the way I want to.

Honey, where ever you go you take yourself. Small town, big city....it doesn't matter. Life doesn't just "happen" because you relocate yourself. SO...start living.
