Norton security has discovered the first spyware ever on my computer doing it's scan.What should I do?

first of all unless you just pulled this computer out of the box you probably have alot more spyware that isn't being detected so you may consider downloading adaware. however, if you follow the steps in norton it will remove it for you just as it would a virus.

if you have a spyware problem, then you definetely need some professional help, fortunately companies like microsoft and symantec are aiding for free all computer users, since this spyware problem is actually doing so much harm to their business that most large companies like ibm and microsoft are teaming up to try to eradicate this problem.

And i really kinda doubt it was the first ever spyware.

use spybot S&D, AdAware, WIndows Defender, Spyware Blaster and some more you should find on www.download.com. A tip, DROP Norton.

nicely, get rid of it. secret agent ware undesirable! No secret agent ware stable! replace: i won't be able to help yet accept as true with "dragonfire" asserting "get rid of Norton". I actual have had some considerable problems with it. each so often Norton Anti-virus acts like a deadly disease. i'm no longer a "techy". i'm purely working with what i understand, which isn't plenty. shop on with the dragon...........

download a third party software for spyware removal try the following they are free:

ad-aware - lavasoft
spybot search and destroy
