Hi
Funny situation but very serious. What kind of accident is not said.
If it is minor one and does not endanger human life can be settled by compromise.
First requirement you have to prove to the satisfaction of the concerned authorities that it is indded due to sneezing. How are you going to do it. Ok It may be a casual sneeze or you had serious cold and blocked nose etc. Or was it due to any serious alergy like pollen allergy, dust allergy etc and you are under treatment.
If you take the plea of sneezing and escape from the clutches of law this one time with say a warning, verbally or in writing, how are you to manage a second or third time. Or will they cancel your driving license till you undergo medical treatment and declared cured or any other safety precautions to ensure that yoiur sneezing is not a safety hazard to public or to your own life and property. How will the insurance company going to react. Will they increase your premium or express inability to insure at all.
I dont know about laws and which country you are talking about.
But more than that did you think about all other problems mentioned above. How are you going to face them .So it would be opening a pandoras box!!!!!

Claiming that you sneezed will have no effect on whether the accident is considered your fault or the other guys. I guess you just have to keep enough space between you and the person in front of you to avoid hitting them even if they brake just as you sneeze.

Yes. You must maintain control of your vehicle (I assume you're talking about motor vehicles) at all times.
If you crash, with a sneeze as an excuse, try to tell that to the judge!

i would assume so, i know sometimes it feels like a sneeze takes over your entire body, but you will still be at fault if you rear end someone. believe me, i know how much can happen in a split second. just give your self distance between your car and other people's just in case.

You can prevent a sneeze by pressing the side of your finger hard up under your nose.

Yes, WHATEVER you do while driving and getting into an accident is yuor fault. Falling asleep, being drunk, cell phone, adjusting radio, whatever. Pull over if and when you risk an accident.

yes you are ar fault
medical condition withstanding, you are responsible at all times for the safety of your car and passengers to the extent as you control it, that's why cops will tell you there are no accidents, only collisons, which ALWAYS implies fault on a party.

yes, you should have full control over your vehicle at all times, if sneezing was a get out of jail free card everyone would use that.

I have never sneezed so bad it would cause me to crash

It doesnt matter why you hit them, if you hit them you are at fault, even if you are slipping on ice, the only exception is if conditions are listed as hazardous or if you are in a no fault state.
