alot of people think you can but it is very unlikely.......when i was trying to get preggo my doc said ovulation occurs 2 weeks after the first day of your period and the days before and after that.....a woman only releases a few eggs each month....

Highly unlikely. Not only is there no egg to drop but the blood cleans out your uterus and entire vaginal cavity. So this would bring the sperm out with it. Now that doesn't mean it is impossible just no likely. Sperm can live 5 days in your uterus so if you have sex late in your period when it is light and your egg drops early for some reason then you can very well get pregnant. Not likely but possible.

During your menstrual cycle, 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after are a womens most fertile time! Practice safe sex...everyday of the month!

yes you can get pregnant ANYTIME you have sex. Protection only lessens your chances. Your period makes no differance.
