If u are heartbroken, take your time and mend. Dont jump into another serious relationship--not yet. Just "casual" date for a little while to see whats out there if u are not heartbroken. And do that too if u are heartbroken but of course after some time.

Don't let him see your hurt. Figure out why the breakup happened and just use the information later with other relationships so you dont get hurt again. There may be something to learn from the experience.

He broke up with you, that's on him. You are free to move on unless you are not over him and then that would not be fair to the guy you like or yourself.
