Why do I get the feeling this is not sincere? OK, I'll be a sucker and pretend I believe you are serious.

It's the "do nothing but" part that is the problem, of course. Having a joint and relaxing after a day at school or work is not a problem, except that it is illegal and leaves you open to trouble with the law. But all day long, to where you get nothing else accomplished, is clearly not a life. If you have independent means, to where you don't need to work, then it's time you decide what you want to do with your life. How about using those independent means to make a difference in this world; to help those who need it, in whatever way seems right to you?

And if you do not have independent means, then it's time you started thinking about the money it takes to feed, clothe and shelter you, not to mention buy your grass. If you feel you have no skills with which to get a real job, then go get those skills. Get a copy of the current "What Color is Your Parachute?" and do the self-analysis necessary to find a reasonable career goal for yourself and pursue it. If you already have marketable skills, go market them!

May I add that smoking dope all day has inevitably exposed you to those who would suggest you could make your money selling it, or growing it. Except for very specific medical marijuana statutes (which have been challenged by the feds and are on shaky ground legally at the moment anyway), you must know the whole game of illegal income is not one you can win for very long without more trouble than it is worth. Don't go that route. But if you want to go get a job as a part of the campaign to legalize it, remember: you can talk about it or you can use it, but you can't do both. In order to join the campaign in any visible way, you have to quit smoking until it is legal.

For now, provided you've got money & a home, it might not affect you too much. you might be (or rather feel) lazier than others your age who don't smoke. you might also feel more 'special', more intelligent or on the other side less intelligent and more boring than them...
If there's no negative consequences from your constant smoking, which I would find extremely hard to believe as anything done in excess almost always has negative (destructive) effects (in this case it's destroying thousands of your brain cells), then - and ONLY then - there's nothing wrong with you. In other words, unless you're an x-man(...), don't worry about it!

Otherwise the answer to your question is that you're running away from reality and unless you start reducing your intake drastically, you might find yourself trapped, hooked or addicted without even knowing it or without even accepting your 'condition'.

It's only bad for you if you're sponging off your parents. A new study [statistically significant with a P value of 0.008] indicates that [when taking into account tobacco and other drugs] marijuana has no link to lung cancer. Also, marijuana is much "safer" on the body than other legal drugs, like alcohol [which is a whole-body toxin] or cigaretts. Marijuana is also less addictive than other drugs, and is not a gateway drug.

So, if you have a job and a path for yourself [whatever that is] then I say, no, it's not bad. Just make sure you share the Doritos ;)

You're pretty stupid. This is clearly a cry for attention. I bet you don't smoke pot. I bet you're not even nineteen. You're probably some silly twelve year old with nothing to do but ask obvious and attention-seeking questions.

If you are truly sincere, then pot has obviously addled your brains. Go to www.abovetheinfluence.com

That site tells all the freaky stuff that pot does to your brain. Please check it out, and get help.

oh yea this is bad for you do you know what weed does to your body her look Some immediate physical effects of marijuana include a faster heartbeat and pulse rate, bloodshot eyes, and a dry mouth and throat. No scientific evidence indicates that marijuana improves hearing, eyesight, and skin sensitivity. Studies of marijuana's mental effects show that the drug can impair or reduce short-term memory, alter sense of time, and reduce ability to do things which require concentration, swift reactions, and coordination, such as driving a car or operating machinery.

If ALL you are doing is smoking weed all day, you are wasting your life. There are a lot of other things you could be doing like taking classes, working, finding a partner, getting physically fit, etc.

You are throwing your young life away. Put down the pipe and pick up a purpose. There are so many things to see, do and to experience in life. Stop frying your brain.
Volunteer at a soup kitchen or animal shelter or whatever gets you going. But you only have one life, don't blow it up in smoke......
