Aren't there more recent politicians to cry and moan about? I'm an Independent and can think about several Republicans and Democrats that are legitimately hurting this country, but for some reason, all of the Conservatives I know are still having a pity party over BIll Clinton. And what's with labeling everyone that disagrees a liberal???? It's like a parrot repeating a line over and over again. Clinton (squack!) Liberals (squack!) Polly want a cracker! (squack!)

To those Conservatives who actually have something to say about real issues, rather than the above B.S.THANK YOU for adding to the intellectual debate. As an Independent, I like to hear both sides of the issue.

I haven't heard much about Clinton lately and I listen to a conservative talk show station on the radio through much of the week. While I am not a Clinton fan, I do agree with you that there are a lot of people (D's & R's) in 'power' right now that need to make some adjustments in their ideaologies. It just seems like one big crying pitty party from both sides right now. I am not registered as an Indp. but I am starting to think that I need to pay closer attention to the Indp party 'cause the others are whining too much.

You didn't mention any "real issues" that you would like to discuss, I am a republican and I don't "squack" about Clinton or liberals! Maybe you should explain as an independent where you stand different issues, it would certainly make it easier to answer your question. Basically, what I see in your comments is kind of a back-handed way to slam republicans. There are a number of republicans and democrats that I believe are hurting the county also, and at least one independent. The problem is that some of these individuals have made the house and senate a life long career and some just seem useless. Term limits might be an interesting topic. I enjoyed your use of the term "pity party", of course I would be more inclined to use that to describe all of the whining over the last two elections.

Well, there are legitmate reasons to dislike Clinton, but I agree they're in the past. Of course if he is out front campaigning with his wife for President then it's going to rise back to the top.

Your question assumes this is just conservatives complaining? I'd take issue with that. I don't hate liberals at all. I'd very much like to have reasonable logical conversations on a laundry list of issues that I'm sure we could compromise on, but the environment is so hateful right now. Why is it that so many people actually HATE the president? I mean his policies or agenda is one thing, but to make it personal & hateful? I don't understand that. When you cruise around this website all you seem to see are folks talking the same simple name calling hateful trash (squack, squack I believe you called it) about the President, but not so much trying to have a reasonable conversation about some policy they disagree with & want to convince people about. That's annoying & immature, but who's complaining?

It is a diversion from their own faulty leadership, who got arrested today. Was it a repuglican or a democrat. Now that is worth talking about. But when you say something that you do not agree with what Bush is doing the first thing that comes back at you is to call you a liberal like it is a bad thing and Bill and Monaka. It is too bad.

People are always saying how bad George Bush is and how grate Bill Clinton was. But they seem to forget how bad Clinton really was.

And lets not do the same thing by sending MS Clinton into the White House.

IT HAPPENS IN BOTH PARTIES. I DISAGREE WITH A LOT OF WHAT LIBERALS SAY AND THEY CAN BE VERY MEAN SPIRITED AND GOOD AT BUSH BASHING. MY FRIEND I'M SAD TO SAY IT IS ALL A POLITICAL NUISANCE AND REALLY SERVES NO PURPOSE IN DEALING WITH ISSUES. IF THE PRESIDENT DOES ONE THING THE DEMOCRATS SAY THEY HAVE A BETTER WAY AND I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT LIBERAL THIS AND CLINTON THIS FROM REPUBLICANS. ALSO, HAVE YOU ALSO NOTICED THAT WHEN A LIBERAL AND CONSERVATIVE TRY TO DEBATE AN ISSUE HOW THEY BOTH TRY TO DROWN EACH OTHER OUT OF THE CONVERSATION? IT GIVES ME A HEADACHE

Why do you compare baseball records to Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron. Why is Reagan still villinized ?

If the Democrats could possibly elect another President , then they would have a more recent "role model" to compare the present President to.

Kind of common sense to me but hey, I'm an Independent too.

Why do liberals keep bringing up this question? It isn't going to get any answers about 'real issues' as you call them. It is churning the topic you say you want dropped.
