Well I don't actually listen to her, and she did this badly, but she does have a bit of a point. You didn't see the families of Pearl Harbor victims trying to tell the Govt how to conduct the invasion of Normany 4 years later. They would have been laughed at, probably dismissed in a tactful way, but laughed at!
It's completely unreasonable for someone who lost a loved one in 9/11 to think they can lecture trained experts on intelligence or security policy. 9/11 was the catalyst that got us into a global war with a purpose MUCH larger & long term than revenge. Revenge is worthless. It's petty & never makes you whole again, plus usually just makes things worse in the long run. I feel for these people & their loss, but they need to get on with their lives. The country is busy with something bigger than them & their loss.

Well, besides Matt Lauer's obvious disagreement and puzzlement at her outrageous statements about the 911 widows*, MSNBC's talking heads, Republican Chris Matthews and Conservative Tucker Carlson, joined in opining that she stepped out of bounds with this one.
Gov Pataki, and Rep King are the only elected Republicans that have had the cajones to condemn her hate filled spew, the rest are silent.
SOME people will say anything TO SELL A BOOK, and she's ONE OF THEM..
I guess she is trying to become the Right wing's answer to the Left's Michael Moore, but as Keith Olbermann said on Countdown tonight, she has neither the charm nor good looks of Moore.
* Paraphased to convey idea concisely.
*These broads got paid, they should sit down and shut up.
. Actual quote, "... enjoying their husbands' deaths."

She is the Anna Korn of politics. If she didn't look like she does, people would ignore her. She's another example of style over substance. A fool and a slanderer. Her ideas are so idiotic, but she is definitely articulate. Maybe if I didn't have more than a high school education and didn't major in Political Science, I might believe her too. I think what is so horrible about her is not just that she pimps her beauty to get people to listen to her, she fans the flames of hate and ignorance- and loves it.

I agree with her that the left is exploiting family members of 9/11 by giving them liberal (aka idiotic) talking points and then turn around and say "You can't challenge what I say because I lost a relative in 9/11" (which is BS because we CAN challenge you). You saw this with that nut job Cindy Sheehan. However, I disagree that the women (Jersey Girls) are celebrating the deaths of their husbands. That goes too far.

Until yesterday, I was absolutely NOT an Ann Coulter fan. I thought she was too flippant, too mean spirited. However, the defense she presented of herself on Hannity and Colmes changed my mind.
I've always realized that Ann is whip smart. What I failed to recognize is that, she is essentially right about almost everything. It's just that she doesn't even make a pretense of trying to win over converts to her point of view. She just wants to bat liberal idiots on the heads and prove how much more clever she is than they are.
Ann can be a bit annoying, but you got to hand it to her, she makes very salient points. The kernal truth of her message is always right on target. We're just so pathetically PC nowadays that we don't listen to the message; we just listen to the palatability of how non-judgemental it is presented.
Let me prove my point. Watch Carlos Mencia (his show is on Comedy Central; his program is called "Mind of Mencia"). Listen to what Carlos actually SAYS. It's every bit as caustic as Ann Coulter, but Carlos does it with humor. Ann does it with vitriolic sarcasm.
You see? It's not the contents of the package. It's the paper it's wrapped in that people negatively react to.

Well, other than her stance on women ("We're actually not that smart") she's right about herself ("[I'm] actually not that smart). Beyond her (implied) acknowledgment of her own stupidity, she's wrong about pretty much everything else. As a feminist I hate her and would think myself above such low attacks... but she's horse-faced too.

I think that she is a person who is not afraid to speak her mind. Look at some of her other comments on Wikipedia with an open mind.
