Yikes...that was harsh. I am a black woman and I can tell you that I've seen some pretty hideous old black women as well. But there is a grain of truth, like someone has already said, black people have pigment called melanin that preserves skin better (it was a characteristic that evolved to keep our ancestors' skin from becoming sun-damaged in Africa) White people don't have as much and that is also why they can get sun poisining and skin cancer more easily than we can.

You can look good or nasty at old age based on how you care for yourself (i.e. Morgan Fairchild, Dolly Parton look good), doesnt matter what race you are. I have seen people that look nasty that are old white or black, and people that look good. That question was a little biased because you ask as though there are no nasty looking old women of other races (SO NOT TRUE!!!!)
P.S. to the person that says it s because they wear makeup to bed... that is the stupidest thing I have ever read.

I've seen some pretty nasty black, white, yellow, red, brown, pink, salmon, green and orange old ladies. There are some pretty gruesome colored guys out there too. They are just people, get used to it. If everyone was perfect like you the planet would be a boring place.

It's because everything just hangs there after awhile - like 70 years. I think Asian, and Polynesian women look so good right on up there. Sorry we can't help it. Old men smell nasty eh?

It has to do with biological factors actually. Men can continually spread their DNA while women biologically expire after a certain time.
White skin shows more fragilities than other "filled in" colors.

Well, this is because they don't have much pigment in there skin and they get saggy quickly. The more pigment in your skin the less wrinkles a person gets which will give a person a youthful glow....i am so happy to black so i don't have to tan, so I can look black...yahooooo!!!!
