Well think about it, and not to be mean to this generation (since I'm only fifteen years old myself), most of the people either do not have time for such news, are ignorant about what is going on with their world, or think that some other things such as leisure and luxury items are more important than the world's issues.

That is just how practically all the students and classmates of my high school are.

Truefuly, if you could be ignorant of life as we know wouldn't you be? Frankly I'd rather not know about the latest mass murders, or the school janitor that molested the 2nd graders in the rest room or how many men died on foreign soil today. I know these things, but lots of days I wish I didn't. Be optimistic, maybe most of them choice not to know rather than because they are lazy, stupid and uninterested.

maybe they work all the time and are to tired to care what is going on i work 11.5 hours a day 6 days a week and i fall asleep when i get home
